Thomas Nelson is a consultant focused on alternative energy related businesses with a link to the Department of Defense. He has been involved with Tee it up for the Troops for four years; first as a sponsor, then a volunteer and most currently as a board member.
Thomas earned a BS and MBA from the University of Minnesota, along with various certificates. His previous work history includes General Manager at Shield Technologies, Vice President at Great Lakes Packing System, and General Manager at CENEX.
Besides Tee it up for the Troops he is also involved and volunteers for Defense Alliance, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and other business advisory boards. In his spare time Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda, and their five children and two grandchildren. He also enjoys traveling, golf and reading.
