Tee it up for the Troops is an organization that supports our veterans (all branches, all conflicts) and their families.  We raise money by hosting golf events throughout the country.

Yes, Tee it up for the Troops is recognized as a 501(c ) 3 non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

Tee it up for the Troops is located in Burnsville, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis and St.Paul.

In previous years, 95% of all funds raised have been distributed to programs that support our veterans and their families.

Yes, we have the highest Triple A rating for charities per Great Profits. We are very proud of that distinction and will continue to work diligently to maintain this honor.

You can call the National Tee it up for the Troops Office by phone at 952-646-2490 or email the National Office at info@teeitupforthetroops.org. There are many opportunities ranging from helping at any Tee it up for the Troops golfing events to administrative duties at the National Office.

Donations can be made through our website by clicking on the Donate Now box on our home page or by clicking on Make a Difference and then click on the Donate page.  There you have the option of giving by credit card via PayPal or GiveMN OR you can print the donation form found on the same page and mail it with your check to:

In 2005, the Tee it up for the Troops organization hosted its first golf event and raised $80,000.  Partnerships with different golf courses, sponsors and the general public have brought year-to-date fundraising totals to over $3 million dollars.

Each year it changes, however in the past six years approximately 75-100 courses have been involved at different levels.  Some courses do a full event while others may ask for donations or donate a percentage of green fees, food and/or beverage for the day.

Each year the Board of Directors evaluates past recipients and any new partnerships / requests that have come to the attention of the organization.  We look at non-profit organizations that are helping groups of veterans and their families.

Each event has its own pricing structure.  For the most accurate response, please contact the number included on the event brochure or flyer in your area or call the National Office to get a contact name and number.
