The inaugural Tee it up for the Troops National Day of Golf event was held at Mendakota Country Club on Friday September 9th, 2005 in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Due to the continued success of the inaugural event and the five annual events that followed, Mendakota Country Club has graciously agreed to once again host the 2011 event in Minnesota on Friday, September 9th.
