At the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, we direct our contributions directly to our programs, therefore a hefty advertising budget is out of the question and we rely heavily on word of mouth and the positive press we’ve been fortunate enough to receive. Tee it up for the Troops has been vital in garnering support for the Fund and spreading awareness about the work that we do through its professional and tireless promotion of the various wonderful organizations it supports. Tee it up for the Troops is one of those rare organizations that truly cares about the service members and veterans of this country. I am so humbled and thankful to be involved with them. When I was at Walter Reed, I was thinking that I wouldn’t be able to participate in any sport activities after all of my surgeries. I was at the bottom because of injuries sustained in an IED blast in Iraq, and Tee it up for the Troops gave me words of inspiration and support. Golf and Tee it up for the Troops has opened the door to the many possibilities before me, and it has given me a greater appreciation and zest for life as well as what I am supposed to do here with the time I have left on this earth to help my fellow soldiers and veterans. So to you, James Ball, and Tee it up for the Troops, thanks for a helping hand in the midst of our troubled times.
