McNiff of KARE 11 & Hines of WCCO Radio
Throughout the years, Tee it up for the Troops has been fortunate to receive media recognition for all that has been done in support of veterans and their families. For example, each year Tim McNiff, anchor of KARE 11 Sunrise, and John Hines, announcer on WCCO Radio, provide media coverage of the Annual Tee it up for the Troops Event held at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights, MN.

Another media organization that has also been an avid supporter of Tee it up for the Troops is Tee Times. They publish a golf publication that is available to Twin Cities golfers at over 550 locations including golf courses, driving ranges, major corporations, restaurants, luxury car dealers, coffee shops and retail shops .
