DESCRIPTION:Tee It Up for the Troops relies on the generous support of corporate sponsors and golfers to reunite combat veterans and help them heal from the hidden wounds of war—including PTSD\, anxiety\, depression\, and isolation. Research consistently shows that veterans with strong social support experience significantly lower PTSD symptoms—a recent meta-analysis of more than 18\,000 service members found that higher levels of support were linked to reduced symptom severity. In addition\, studies reveal that veterans who reconnect and provide support to their peers have up to 30% lower odds of experiencing depression or suicidal ideation. \nAt REUNION\, the bonds forged in service become a source of renewed strength.
