What began as a golf tournament has grown into a week-long commemoration featuring a variety of activities and events for Dataw Island Club members and guests to enjoy. \nFor many years\, Dataw Island Club has wholeheartedly embraced Tee It Up for the Troops and its mission\, and we are profoundly grateful for the incredible volunteer efforts and generous financial support of Dataw Island residents and members. We look forward to another memorable Celebration of Veteran Service at Dataw Island in 2026! \n\n \n\n\n\n    New for 2026: Mini Triathlon\n   Get ready to swim\, bike\, and run for a great cause! Monday\,  November 9 at 8:00 a.m. at the Dataw Community Center. \n    Event Details \n\n\n     Participants may compete individually or gather friends and register as a relay team. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or looking to try your first triathlon\, this beginner-friendly event is designed to be fun and exciting. That’s why we proudly support both active-duty service members and veterans from all eras. \nA portion of the funds raised at this event will also support our REUNION outreach program\, which reunites combat veterans who were separated—often due to battlefield injuries—and brings together their caregivers for a healing experience.
