Tee It Up for the Troops support veterans all around the country, of all eras, through charity golf events around the nation. Thank you to Eagle Brook Country Club for supporting American heroes through this Chicago military charity golf event! Did you know that according to VA officials the overall rate of suicides among veterans has held steady at around 22 a day for roughly a decade, but researchers are seeing a troubling increase in the rate of younger veterans taking their lives? The change from the battlefront to homefront can be particularly challenging for combat veterans, who often are working through war related PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more. Our support for these American Heroes should never end once they come home from war. Corporate and individual supporters are needed to help more combat warriors overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty.
Proceeds from this Chicago military charity golf event go to veterans support organizations that direct support towards critical areas of need including Suicide Prevention, Veteran Employment, PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury rehabilitation, Family and Caregiver support, Housing and Homelessness, Golf and Sports rehabilitation. A portion of the proceeds also supports Tee It Up for the Troops outreach program, REUNION. REUNION reunites battle buddies who were separated during combat, often due to battlefield injuries. REUNION brings these veterans together for a time of camaraderie and healing, helping veterans transition to fulfilling civilian lives.

Thank you to the Country Club of Sioux Falls for helping our American heroes get back on course at this South Dakota military charity golf tournament! Ranked as one of the finest golf courses in the Upper Midwest this Championship Course was renovated in the Fall of 2017 by world-renowned architect Jim Lipe.From the battlefront to the home front.
The change from the battlefront to the home front can be particularly challenging for combat veterans, who often are working through war-related PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more. Our support for these American Heroes should never end once they come home from war. These men and women volunteered and fought for our freedom and they are not getting the services they need. We believe we can and should do better by them and are asking for your help to be able to continue to do so. Corporate and individual supporters are needed to help combat warriors overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds and regain their independence.

This event, historically held at Golden Valley Country Club, will be held at Edina Country Club while GVCC undergoes a two-year renovation. This Twin Cities charity golf tournament is held at Oak Marsh in Oakdale, MN. These events are meant to be fun, while at the same time always remembering the sacrifices our military heroes and their families make daily. Tee It Up for the Troops combines an exciting golf event with an inspiring patriotic ceremony and tribute to our military, and ends the day with a rousing reception and auction to raise more funds for our American heroes.
