It Began With One Soldier’s
Selfless Request

When a soldier serving in Iraq was asked by family and friends what he needed, he asked them to do something for returning service members and their families back home. Tee It Up for the Troops was founded in 2005 as a military non-profit to honor that selfless request. Since then, Tee It Up for the Troops has given over $16 million to support veterans from all branches and all conflicts.

Some of the dollars donated to Tee It Up for the Troops support reunions of combat veterans through Tee It Up for the Troops’ REUNION Outreach Program. Such reunions are being touted by VA and mental health professionals as key in helping combat veterans heal from the hidden wounds of war including depression, isolation, and suicide.

In an effort to fulfill our mission to honor, remember, respect, and support veterans’ transitions from the battlefront to the home front and raise awareness about the profound and enduring effects of combat on our nation’s heroes, we also partner with and support vetted military non-profit and service organizations across the nation who offer critical services that provide an immediate impact for veterans and their families. Learn more about how we focus our giving on six critical pillars of support.

We must never forget the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Their needs continue to greatly exceed our ability as a nation to meet them. We encourage you to “step up to the tee” to help us honor and support them by getting involved! Together we can make a difference!
