Seth is the Chief Investment Officer of Academy Asset Management, a service-disabled veteran-owned asset manager. Previously, he was the Bank Chief Investment Officer at Northern Trust, where over his 15+ year tenure he oversaw $100 billion in global assets. Beyond his investment leadership, Seth also served on Northern Trust’s Employee Benefit Investment Committee, holding fiduciary responsibility for the firm’s employee retirement plans. Seth is a CFA charter holder and earned his BBA from the University of Iowa, where he also serves on the Finance Advisory Council at the Tippie School of Business.
Recognized for his strategic thinking, financial acumen, and collaborative leadership, Seth brings a well-rounded blend of investment expertise and mentorship to every role. He is passionate about supporting those who raised their hand to defend our freedom, as his father and both grandfathers served in the military. He also has a passion for the game of golf. He resides in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and two boys.
