This local military charity golf event is held at Wanakah Country Club in Buffalo, NY. The golf event will include a patriotic opening ceremony and golf at the beautiful Wanakah Country Club.
Did you know that according to VA officials the overall rate of suicides among veterans has held steady at around 22 a day for roughly a decade, but researchers are seeing a troubling increase in the rate of younger veterans taking their lives? The change from battlefront to homefront can be particularly challenging for combat veterans, who often are working through war related PTSD, depression, anxiety and more. Our support for these American Heroes should never end once they come home from war. Corporate and individual sponsorships and donations are needed to help combat warriors overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. Proceeds from this local military charity event go to many local veteran service organizations and national programs like the Tee It Up for the Troops outreach program, REUNION, where combat veterans are reunited with their comrades from the battlefield.

through this members-only golf event to benefit Tee It Up for the Troops! Tee It Up for the Troops was founded in 2005 with the mission to honor, remember, respect, and support those who serve(d) in our nation's armed forces. We believe that support for America's heroes was never meant to end once they come home. For many, a whole new battle begins once they leave the service which is why we are proud to support active duty servicemembers and veterans of all eras. Tee It Up for the Troops events raise funds that support national and local veteran service organizations helping veterans through 6 key pillars: PTSD & traumatic brain injury support, suicide awareness & prevention, housing & homelessness, veteran employment, family support, sports rehabilitation.
A portion of the funds raised will also support the Tee It Up for the Troops REUNION outreach program. REUNION reunites combat veterans who were separated, often due to battlefield injuries bringing battle buddies and their caregivers together for a healing event that aims to help combat veterans transition to fulfilling civilian lives.
Tee It Up for the Troops is dedicated to maximum transparency and fiscal responsibility. We have received high-ratings from Charity Watchdogs such as Charity Navigator (100/100), Guidestar (Platinum rating), and Great-Nonprofits (Top-Rated). Our administrative costs average <6% and our high level of volunteer engagement ensures as much money as possible goes directly to supporting veterans and their families.
