Joe Tessmer is Executive Vice President and CFO of Payment Services at U.S. Bank. Joe has been at U.S. Bank for a total of 18 years, serving in a variety of senior financial leadership roles across the bank. Prior to returning to U.S. Bank in 2024, Joe served as Executive Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at Truist in Charlotte.
Joe is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University’s School of Management, with concentrations in finance and accounting.
Joe joined the board of Tee It Up for the Troops in 2017. He has a passion for the game of golf and is excited about the opportunity to use his knowledge and experience to help those who have served their country in the military. He resides in the Twin Cities with his wife and two girls.
